Poiret Cocoon Coat
Welcome to the 1910's, thank you to Paul Poiret whose famed "Cocoon Coat" inspired this version. Unlike the modern cocoon coats this one is inspired by Poiret's stylines. With a slightly curved back seam and large "Bat-wing" styled sleeves the drape of this coat creates interesting shapes whatever the angle! The large oversized shape allows room for layers and the Fur Trimmed shaw collar adds a touch of elegance. Has hook and eye closure at neck, and large button closure below waist. Button is vintage with slight Patina, only adds to the vintage feel of this garment. One size fits most, the button closure can me moved to allow for more room around the waist. Made from 100% Polyester Microsuede, I often try to make one of a kind garments out of vintage fabric, to help reduce waste in the Enviorment!
