The Return

Sunday was our last day together, we actually got up early that day and got ready. We had High School Musical on which was fun to watch with Zoi and share some of my memories revolving around it. We ate our leftovers from the Thai place for breakfast and then packed all our things up and checked out of the room.

We headed for Goodwill, because Plato's Closet was now closed. It ended up being such a good choice, we spent along time there and everyone walked out with something good. I managed to grab a cute yellow dress and some ankle boots. My mom said I don't need anymore ankle boots, but can you really have too many? Well we cleared out of there and then headed downtown for some Boba.

The sign said this was the best Boba in Reno. And it totally had to be, the line was down the street! Bubble Tea Station was the name, I highly recommend. I ordered the passion fruit tea and it was perfect! Across the street we saw signs for a thrift and antique shop, so we decided to go check it out, curiosity and all that.

Junkee was the name of the spot and OMG was the place funky fun! We killed two hours here having the time of our life! The clothing side is a really great mix of vintage meets new I actually found a cute riding jacket that almost looks Vintage but actually isn't. I bought it anyways too cute to pass up. The other side then had a mix of accessories, furniture, collectables. It's kinda like Sissy's Attic on crack. My sister found a vending machine full of grab bags, she went with the horror one for $12 cute. My niece picked up some leg warmers and stockings as well. To finish it off we liked them on Instagram and got ourselves some free totes, totally worth it! On the way back to our car we stopped off at a little Vintage shop, it was super cute but tiny. We then piled into the car for the journey back.

Coming back again we took our time, but I still really wanted to get down the mountain before it got too dark. My night vision isn't the best so I wanted to get to some familiar road. Which worked out well, but around Grass Valley I really had to go to the bathroom. I pulled over by a grocery store and practically leaped out of the car. When I came back we decided we were all hungry and went to look for a place to eat. This turned out to be a difficult thing as now we had returned to California.

The first place we stopped at was supposed to be a burger joint but looked like a bunch of vegan junk 🤢 we were willing to give it a shot but they weren't doing dine in. We then saw a cute little tea spot and thought let's stop in since we hadn't been to one The day before.

This little tea spot was the cutest! They had a little love tree where you could leave messages, so we totally did that!

Then on to the next eatery, the place we found looked promising but the guy there said he didn't know if he could get us in. The current patrons had all finished their food and were now watching the game. He couldn't ask them to leave so he couldn't promise a table would open anytime soon. We were super hungry by now, I said let's walk up the street and stop in at the first place we see.

The first place we saw was a pizza parlor. A pizza parlor that had run out of tomatoes, but we were so hungry we were eating there tomatoes or no. So we settled outside in the cold, and ate our pizza. It was really good pizza, we pretty much scarfed down the whole thing. And then back on the road, no stopping this time.

The rest of the tip was nice and easy, we came back home, and made ourselves a cup of the Laughing CAT tea. We watched some Love O2O and Boys over Flowers as we fell asleep. That concludes our little getaway! Stay tuned for next months travel adventure! I look forward to seeing you then!

What do I wear? Today I wore a red cropped turtle neck I purchased on the Wish app. Over it I wore a white t-shirt with a big red lipstick kiss graphic. I paired it with some black skinny jeans given to me, and again wore my waterproof white boots from Amazon. I stuck with the spectacles from voogueme.com and again wore my leopard print jacket.
