Cowboy Walk of Fame

Day 2: as much as I liked our hotel the mattress was a little firmer than I'd like. It does make it difficult to settle in, also the power would go out from time to time, but I only noticed it at night. Other than that service, decor, and staff are wonderful! I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐!

We all got up and ready for the day, I did a bit of reading before going to the lobby for free pastries. Afterwards we decided to take a walk to check out the Cowboy Walk of fame!

We also ran into one of my Grandpa's old drinking buddies so we made sure to catch up with him.

The downtown area was cute, I found an adorable little theater and, to my surprise a church was open. We were just in time for service and I wanted to go, but was out voted by my party members ☹️ so no Sunday morning service.

On the way back we took a small detour over to Hart Ranch the home of William S. Hart.

Unfortunately the museum was closed but we hiked up the hill anyhow and had a good look at his home.

It was a nice easy trail, which was a relief considering I did not bring hiking shoes. I really enjoyed the fresh air and scenery, plus we even got to see some bison on the way back down!

We returned to our rooms to grab a few things and then went to lunch. For lunch we went to World Famous Cupid's! Well maybe not world famous but a local happening spot.

My Dad said this was where all the celebrities would eat back in his day. I didn't see any but we did spot a 57 Bel Air fully restored and beautiful ❤️ I ordered an Original Dog (pictured) while my parents went for the Triangle Dog (not pictured) they said their's was better.

The next stop was to visit my grandma, it's been at least two years since I saw her last so I was glad for the chance.

It was only an hour visit, but time is precious when you don't have much. After our visit we then went to meet with my Aunt. I didn't take any pics as I was having a good time and completely forgot about it.

She showed us her super cute garden and we played the UnGame. We had dinner of homemade pizza, soup and salad from her garden. Oh and oatmeal cookies for dessert 😋 everything was delicious! And I thoroughly our after dinner conversations (even if my dad tried to convince them about his moon landing conspiracy theory) I also received a call from a friend, I took a bit of time to catch up with her.

We then returned to the hotel where we watched some home improvement show.

What did I wear? Today I rocked a blue jumpsuit paired with some black ankle. I did not realize we'd be hiking so I was not dressed accordingly.
